Solar Eclipse — August 21, 2017

Photos made from northwest Ohio, where the maximum eclipse was about 83%.

While nothing matches the spectacle of a total solar eclipse, even a partial eclipse is interesting to observe and document. These images were captured from a location a few hundred miles north of the Path of Totality. Those of us in northwest Ohio are looking forward to the solar eclipse of April 8, 2024, which will be total in our area.
